I made these bleak past comics as a part of a project I did with a buddy of mine in which we both made 10 comic strips a day for 30 days.
Here’s a version in color, that I did a few years back. I’ve redone this sequence a few times, to be honest. This one jumps around in style a bit much and ends up looking inconsistent, which it is!
Here’s one, but it’s just the lizard part and he doesn’t die. It’s just a sketch get off my back!
This is my favorite sequence. I think it has the best pacing.
Here’s one that didn’t end up getting developed too far, but I think had potential. A lot of false starts.
